Our dear friends and amazing photographers Ramon & Hermine planned a little trip to the Dutch coast and they asked me if I could come over to shoot their portraits.
I never could have guessed that Ramon was going to pop the big question only 3 days before the shoot, she said yes…
So the portrait shoot became an engagement session.

It’s been such crazy year for me. Meeting all these new people and getting to know them is one of the things I like most about being a photographer. Christophe is an awesome baker who likes to spoil me now and then. :) For their E-session he brought some homemade cupcakes.
So looking forward to their wedding next year.
The entire session was shot on film with the contax 645.

A pilot, a flight attendant and the USAF Thunderbirds.
For me, a guy who always wanted to be a pilot, it was a good day…
Special thanks to the Belgian air force, and in particular, the Koksijde airbase for making this shoot possible.

Bedankt R, Ik kreeg al heel wat opmerkingen op deze foto, de meeste complimentjes werden snel gevolgd met ‘mooi gephotoshopped’ maar voor alle duidelijkheid, de vliegtuigjes in deze foto zijn 100% echt!
En we hadden een paar 1000 getuigen… ;) -
